Welcome To Antoine Nau – Unleaded BMX

We are psyched to welcome Antoine Nau to our international team, who will be riding for us in France through our friends and distributor Unleaded BMX. Most of this video was filmed in Toulouse, FR. You can look for a bike check with Antoine coming soon. Big thanks to Florent Ferrarri for filming and editing.

Speaking of France, Unleaded are loaded with our new goods. If you are on that side of the world, hit them up to get all the newest MacNeil goods!

Random Photo: Chris Silva in Windsor

Silva Windsor

Last week Silva took a train trip down to Detroit’s neighbour Windsor, ON. He was down there visiting his friend Chase Davidson to hang out for a few days, search for some spots, and film for our upcoming DVD. Chase snapped this photo of Silva getting down with a fufanu on a slanted block and sent it over.

Ride BMX – Greg Flag Bike Check

Bike Check: Greg Flag

While Greg was down in Mexico earlier this spring, Ryan Fudger shot a bike check with him detailing his Borato V3 build, with C.K.S. forks, Tabarnak bars, Top Shelf stem, Network wheels, and a lot more. If you thought a bike check could never warm the heart and up lift the soul, then you never read one with Greg. He answers some questions about his particular bike, compares it to a well worn pair of jeans, and shares a heroic story of how he once saved two women from drowning to death. Stop what you’re doing and take a few minutes to read his bike check here.

Pandect Zine, a new small run BMX print publication from Cory Beal, just came out with their first issue and it features a probing interview with Chris Silva about his unquenchable thirst for spot searching, as well as this monster rail photo of Taylor Elvy. The zine is available for simply price of postage so head over to their site for more info on how to get one.

Jeff Kocsis in The Price Is Wrong

If you haven’t watched Animal‘s new video The Price Is Wrong, then you are probably blowing it. Jeff Kocsis throws down with an awesome first section and great footage throughout, as well as their whole team. They are giving this thing away to everyone FOR FREE. Animal may be our friends, but it’s always important to stress that you should support real companies taking action to give back to BMX in large ways. Real recognize real. Also here’s a photo of Jeff laying down for a snoozer some time last year at the MCNLBC house.

Taylor Elvy for the Connect Cranks

Taylor Elvy helps us introduce our new Connect cranks and puts them through their paces in this new edit. These new cranks are beefy in all the right places with investment cast pedal and spindle bosses, a gun drilled hollow 22mm spindle with 48 splines, a slideable box-style arm design, and only weigh in at 28.8 oz. Check out the video above, and you can get more info on the new cranks in the flip book we made right here.

Ride BMX – Products You Can’t Miss: Fashionably Light Pegs

fashionably_light_02

We missed this the other week when Ride BMX compiled a list of 14 products you can’t miss and included our popular Fashionably Light pegs. These bad boys are forged heat treated chromoly and offset at the centre, making the material thinner at the top than the bottom. The result is a very light weight steel peg that weighs about the same as an aluminum, but slides way better. Just follow the directions to run one side up and you’re golden. 4″ long and 35mm diameter in 3/8″ or 14mm in a bunch of colours. Hit up your MacNeil dealer to pick them up individually.

Animal just posted a bunch of photos from their recent Connecticut Shop Stops and there were too many good photos of Lil’ Jeff to narrow down that I decided to post two of these awesome boosts. Always doing everything with so much style. He’s got a bunch more great photos that they posted that you can check out here. Photos by Rob Dolecki.
