Jeff Kocsis in The Price Is Wrong

If you haven’t watched Animal‘s new video The Price Is Wrong, then you are probably blowing it. Jeff Kocsis throws down with an awesome first section and great footage throughout, as well as their whole team. They are giving this thing away to everyone FOR FREE. Animal may be our friends, but it’s always important to stress that you should support real companies taking action to give back to BMX in large ways. Real recognize real. Also here’s a photo of Jeff laying down for a snoozer some time last year at the MCNLBC house.

Taylor Elvy for the Connect Cranks

Taylor Elvy helps us introduce our new Connect cranks and puts them through their paces in this new edit. These new cranks are beefy in all the right places with investment cast pedal and spindle bosses, a gun drilled hollow 22mm spindle with 48 splines, a slideable box-style arm design, and only weigh in at 28.8 oz. Check out the video above, and you can get more info on the new cranks in the flip book we made right here.

Ride BMX – Products You Can’t Miss: Fashionably Light Pegs

fashionably_light_02

We missed this the other week when Ride BMX compiled a list of 14 products you can’t miss and included our popular Fashionably Light pegs. These bad boys are forged heat treated chromoly and offset at the centre, making the material thinner at the top than the bottom. The result is a very light weight steel peg that weighs about the same as an aluminum, but slides way better. Just follow the directions to run one side up and you’re golden. 4″ long and 35mm diameter in 3/8″ or 14mm in a bunch of colours. Hit up your MacNeil dealer to pick them up individually.

Animal just posted a bunch of photos from their recent Connecticut Shop Stops and there were too many good photos of Lil’ Jeff to narrow down that I decided to post two of these awesome boosts. Always doing everything with so much style. He’s got a bunch more great photos that they posted that you can check out here. Photos by Rob Dolecki.

Chris Silva’s Borato V3 Bike Check @ BMX Union

IMG_0302_600x

Chris Silva recently built up a whole new bike, starting with a Borato V3 frame. If you know Chris then you know that he’s very particular of what he rides. BMX Union has an in depth look at his new bike, and he answers some questions about what he’s been up to and filming for our new DVD, that he’s been hard at work on already. You can check out the full feature here.

In Stock Now: Calico V2

calico_V2_raw

In stock with our recent wave of new frames is our Calico V2. This frame is built for all the tall folks that still want a quick and responsive bike. For this year we kept the proven specs the same, but added a MID BB. With a 21.5″ top tube, 8.9″ standover, an extra tall 130mm headtube at 75° degrees, and a short 13.2″ rear end this bike is built tall and strong, but quick with a lot of pop. Couple that with dome capped chain and seat stays, Fly style removable brake mounts, and a backend with clearance for wide tires, this frame has what you need. Hit the product page for more details and photos and hit up your my favourite MacNeil dealer to get your hands on one.

Park Life with Kevin Kiraly

Kevin and his good friend Justin Burns put in some time at a bunch of great concrete parks around the NorCal area recently and came through with this fun but still bangin’ edit for The Crooked World. Seriously so much switch stuff in here you’ll wanna watch it a couple times. Check it out and be sure to subscribe to Network A on Youtube for more awesome content from The Crooked World.
