ii9o0620_2.jpg

We just got our shipment of all the Orange stuff in yesterday as well as our first shipment of F.A.C.E. pedals! Everyone’s been grabbing new stuff for their bikes and since Jaumell’s bike was stolen in Cali, we just built him up a fresh ride. All our parts that came in bronze, now come in orange, and the F.A.C.E pedals and cranks come in white. We’ll have all the new colors up on the site real soon, but for now, check out a bunch of photos of Jaumell’s bike and some of the new parts after the jump.

Travis is Finishing School

dsc_0213_2.jpg

Travis is about to finish school and has been working hard on his portfolio. There was a design competition between the students of his program to come up with an identity for their grad show. After a few weeks of voting and all the concepts getting sent out to some of the top design studios in Vancouver, Travis’s concept came out on top! He just got all the final catalogs, posters and everything the other day and they turned out dope! He sent over a bunch of photos along with some pics of his finished PF Flyer shoes we posted about a few weeks back. He also built a new site for his more professional design work. traviscollier.com is going to turn into more of a personal site, while his new site, Supercolour, is official portfolio site. He’s just finishing it up right now, but we’ll post a link to it as soon as it’s ready. Along with his portfolio site, there was a site built by his friend Eli Horn for their grad show, using Travis’s concept, that is amazing. You can find work from all his classmates in there. Check it out – idea08.ca

Check out all the Grad Show collateral and posters that Travis designed as well as the painted PF Flyer’s after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

Nick Halsey in Arizona

img_0070.jpg

Nick was out in Arizona a few weeks back and he just sent over some photos and a story about his trip. Andrew McMullen was randomly out there visiting Skyler Brittner and while they were down there, they both filmed with Skyler and few other dudes for the Team Fountain Hills joint on the SWBMX video contest. Check the video out here.

Check out a bunch of Nick’s photos after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

Ali update

Ali just hit us with a few updates over the past few days. He just got a DVD in the mail from the Dallas LG comp from last year and ended up on the disc. The photo was from his first run and above is a bootleg look at his second run. It’s crazy to see how long those runs are… I’d be dead after my first two tricks… haha… No wonder everyone like jam format so much better.

Ali sent some more photos, so check them out after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

San Diego/Riverside Day 5

l1040102.jpg

We woke up at Gary’s house in San Diego, cleaned up, packed our things, and Gary took us to this amazing breakfast spot. We by no means ate healthy on this trip, but we did have some amazing food! I think the place was called The Beach Break Cafe. If you are in San Diego, you need to find it… So good! Our next move was to start heading out to Riverside for Heath’s jam. The Pallo (SP?) was on our way and we couldn’t pass up a opportunity to ride it. The kidney pool has been filled in for a bit, but right next door is an amazing square pool that we rode for a while. Gary had some stuff he wanted to do in there and put down some great lines. After an hour or so, we were back on the road and on our way to Riverside.

The wind had picked up, so by the time we got to Heath’s trails, it was blowing hard! Most everyone was still riding and there was a serious show going on. Bohan, Aitken, Chase Hawk, all training like there is no tomorrow… It was amazing. Gary and I chilled for a bit, but we got into the session after the wind died down a bit… and boy was it fun. I haven’t ridden trail in a long time and I seriously had so much fun! We rode till dark and just as it got to dark to ride it started to rain. Gary was putting his bike and gear in his car and somehow locked his keys in the trunk. After a few attempts and an hour wait he was able to use Dave Mavro’s AAA car, get his keys out and head back to San Diego. Jay, Jaumell, and I chilled for the party and had a great time. Big thanks out to Heath, Lonnie Paxton, and everyone else who made that party/jam happen… Oh yeah, all I want to do is ride trails!

Check out some photos from the pool and a bunch from Heath’s jam after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

LA/San Diego Day 4

ii9o0488.jpg

After a few nights with no internet, we are all back home, but we’ll get back with the updates where we left off… Day 4 started out with some amazing breakfast burritos at Nick’s in Seal Beach, then we headed over to Greyboy’s in Long Beach to hang out for a bit. After a quick stop at Oakley to pick up all the stuff Jay ordered the day before, we were off to San Diego to meet up with Gary and go ride with the Give-D crew. We had a nice full day of riding and crashed at Gary’s place.

Check out a bunch of photos from the day after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

LA Day 3

l1040027.jpg

Day three was pretty chill. We headed out to Torrance for a meeting in the morning, then headed up to Melrose to meet up with Ali and Lindsay. Ali’s been in town, but he took a spill and messed his knee up a bit. He thought he might of torn his MCL, but went down to a doctor in San Diego and found out that everything is good and he just needs to chill for a few weeks. Next, we headed down to Santa Monica to meet up with Eddie Cleveland and ride the park for the bike session. The park was dope and we had a nice, chill session. Kelly Bolton was there and we all headed to the Mexican joint across the street for some food. That night, there was a release party thing for two clothing lines, Ludwig and Huffer, at this furniture showroom, Ford Brady. Ludwig is a brand that Mike Dytri, a designer that has worked on a lot of Mosh stuff, put together and the party was dope. The space is amazing and if you checked out our photos from the last time we were in California, this place probably looks familiar. Mike Ardelean and Jim Bauer were hanging out with their girls and after the party, we hit some sushi and ended up at a bar in Venice, by Mikes house… A nice full day in Cali!
