Ali just came across the July issue of Dirt Rider Magazine and he has a photo and bike check on the last page. Justin Kosman shot the photo and Ali’s super psyched on it… It’s his second photo in a Moto mag! Speaking of Justin, he just launched a new website with some really great work. Check it out here. While we were down at Elevation Gary tweaked his knee and had to pull out of finals. Gary was riding so good and it really sucked that he had to pull out. Gary thought he tore his ACL and wasn’t sure how his summer would work out. After a few doctors visits he had some good news, he discovered his ACL and cartilage was fine, it was his meniscus. He was able to get orthoscopic knee surgery last week and should be back on his bike in no time. He had a video of the surgery, that we tried to put on the site, but it was pretty long, so here’s a screen grab of his meniscus…
Are you in need of another web video from Jaumell? I know I am.. Jaumell filmed a bunch of stuff with Luck Santucci while he was in town and they are putting an edit together right now. Their trip to Van wasn’t the longest trip, but they definitely made the best out of it and captured some hot clips. David Lang came out with us a few times, shooting some of the stuff Jaumell put down.
