“So the day before Interbike in Las Vegas, Gary gets a call from Mat Hoffman about going to this crazy BMX event in Busan, Korea. One long plane trip later and it turns out that Gary’s shred capabilities are globally compatible and he topped the podium while most everyone else in the BMX world was waking up with a hangover in Vegas.”

About a month ago Travis moved into a new place with his girl and I’m psyched because it’s just a few blocks away… Now the neighborhood is rocking… It was just me Terry and Jay, but then Osato moved in and now Travis! I went over there before he moved anything in and we explored the building… Check out a few photos of us getting gnarly at the gym after the jump… haha!

Congrats to Gary for taking home yet another Metro Jam title!!! Gary killed the whole course and did more tricks in his first run than a lot of people did the whole weekend! He even got a flat in his first run in finals, fixed it and still got first! Wade took home an impressive fourth with a few bangers… Wallride to flair, nosepick whip on a slant wall and flip-whip over the box hip! Ali got seventh and definitely killed the whole course with some big transfers… I think he was the first guy to jump the big transfer of the weekend, from the box hip to the big wedge landing… and proceded to kill it with some big downside whips, lookbacks and a superman… and I can’t forget the overice on the sub… and the SURFERS!!
