Dom Mach!!!
Do you remember Dom Mach? If you ever had a chance to meet the Dominator I can guarantee that you have never forgotten him. He is one of the original MacNeil team riders and has been keeping an ultra low profile for the last couple of years, just lurking and riding in the shadows around the Kelowna area. Sighting are rare and photo and video are non-existent, despite this or because of this, the legend of Dom has been growing. This blog by Aaron Gates was brought to my attention, it’s filled with facts that had until now had just been rumor.
Dom, if you’re reading this. Call me.

The best Dom Mach related quote I’ve heard this month: “his last trick in the Macneil video was a 360 to 3 types of grinds”. Dude was basically the opposite of everything that sucks in bmx right now.

This is dom, not just someone pretending to be me. The truth is that I still ride when I can. I run a small landscaping business in kelowna, which keeps me really busy march through november. I take the winters off, but it’s too shitty outside to ride most off the days. I think about BMX every day of my life. I truly miss being able to ride all the time. I love BMX, it’s in my blood, it’s been pumping through my veins since 1988, and it always will be. Checkout the photo from 2009 that Aaron Gates attached to his comments. It’s a pic that richard gregory took, I’ve wanted to pull that grind for years, finally got the guts to do it last april.

Dom doesn’t know how to use the internet. I’m moving back to Kelowna this weekend and I’ll teach him how to upload photos and videos to the world wide web just to prove he’s alive and still riding. The guys a natural. Last year was his first year snowboarding and he was landing big 360 grabs his 3rd day out. Eeeee-Goink.
