Happy Birthday Chris!!

Jaumell was in Vancouver with Luke Santucci for the weekend where they decided to pick up matching sweatshirts… Other than wearing matching sweatshirts, they were able to film a bit for the Ten Pack video, but the trip got cut short due to rain. The rain sucked in Vancouver, but it wasn’t as bad as the snow that welcomed them back to Edmonton… Or as bad as they looked walking around in public with their matching sweatshirts…

So, it’s definitely going feel different with Jay gone, but things are going to keep rolling, so you should check out these photos of Anthony Messere! Our friend Tim O’kane from Rev Trails sent over some shots of Anthony from the Igloo.  The guys hit up the Igloo through out the winter and Tim snapped some photos from a few different session! Big thanks to Tim for sending the photos over!

I have some pretty big news to announce. I have sold MacNeil Bikes, and Ten Pack Distribution to my business partners Darcy Saccucci and Jamie McIntosh who’ll continue to run them like normal. I’ve also shut down Metro Events. After spending my entire life either on a bike, or working in the bike business I’m walking away from it.

While it’s pretty scary leaving it all behind, I’m super excited for the new life that lies ahead. I haven’t yet decided what that life will be. I’m going to take a while to relax and see what comes up.

I want to thank everyone whom I’ve ridden with, partied with, and worked with over the years. I especially want to thank Darcy, Jamie and everyone else that’s worked with me at MacNeil and Ten Pack. It’s been amazing!

So, we haven’t been good about posting birthdays on the blog for a while. Ali had a birthday (happy birthday Ali!!) on Feb 13th that we didn’t post and I’m sure we missed everyone’s prior to that… Well, we are going to get better and to kick things off we want to wish Dillon Lloyd a happy 17th (yeah, that’s crazy he’s only 17, right?) birthday! As Jeremy Deme put it “One year from today he will legally be allowed to drink in Montreal”… And if he’s lucky his mustache might grow in just a little thicker… So, everyone wish Dillon (and Alistair and everyone else we missed) a happy birthday!!!
