The Toronto Jam went down this past weekend and both our dudes Chijioke Okafo and Brandon Webster have some dope clips in this Ride BMX edit from the whole thing. Brandon made it through to finals and ended up 20th overall. Press play and check out what went down.
Congrats to Dillon Lloyd for taking second place in the Red Bull best trick contest at Simple Session this past weekend and for making it into the finals and finishing 14th overall. The list of riders was stacked as always for Simple Session and Dill killed it. Check out a few wild tricks from his finals runs in the edit below from Ride BMX and be sure to watch both him and Brandon Webster throw down some crazy moves during the Best Trick contest over on the Red Bull site here. You can also check out all of the finals on the Red Bull site here.
Who needs a shirt after a wild 360 whip gap to flat?
Jack Leonard, part of our Young Guns squad, and the rest of the London, Ontario crew have been working on this DWOK Mixtape for a while now and it just dropped in full the other day. Jack has a ton of dope clips in here along with the rest of the dudes and he also edited the whole thing. This rules from start to finish so press play and enjoy!
Chris Silva was interview as part of Ride BMX‘s ‘Friday Interview’ among a stack of other awesome riders yesterday. They were all asked the same question: ‘Why’s your bike like that?’ This is something very near and dear to Silva’s heart, as many will know, and he gave a pretty insightful answer, stating, among other things that “a lot of riders seem to just chase the same tricks on street while all riding the exact same bike setups.” Read what else Silva had to say here on the Ride site. We’re real psyched to announce that one of our good friends and one helluva rider, Chijioke Okafo, is now part of the MacNeil crew! Chi has been a long-time friend of everyone in the company for years now and has been killing it forever. On top of that, Chi and Silva are a dynamic duo when it comes to filming and riding and he’s real tight with the rest of the team. Chijioke is also going to be the first ‘full-factory’ team rider and built up this new bright red Calico V2 kit to get rolling. Expect to see a lot more from Chi as the year progresses including a proper ‘welcome to the team’ and be sure to check out some more photos of his fresh new whip after the jump. Welcome to the family, bud!
It’s not much a secret after yesterday’s ‘Nocturnal Vol. 2′ edit featuring Brandon Webster on a freshly built Borato V3 but we’d now officially like to welcome Brandon Webster to the MacNeil team! Brandon has been blowing up like crazy over the last couple years and we couldn’t be happier to have him as part of the crew. His humble attitude combined with some of the wildest riding is a deadly combination and the fact that he’s already good friends with some of the team makes everything that much better. This welcome edit was filmed over the course of a few nights at Joyride 150 Bike Park but watch out for tons more from Brandon to come and go follow him on Instagram at @webster_bmx!
