So, we haven’t been good about posting birthdays on the blog for a while. Ali had a birthday (happy birthday Ali!!) on Feb 13th that we didn’t post and I’m sure we missed everyone’s prior to that… Well, we are going to get better and to kick things off we want to wish Dillon Lloyd a happy 17th (yeah, that’s crazy he’s only 17, right?) birthday! As Jeremy Deme put it “One year from today he will legally be allowed to drink in Montreal”… And if he’s lucky his mustache might grow in just a little thicker… So, everyone wish Dillon (and Alistair and everyone else we missed) a happy birthday!!!

Lazerdick has been out in New Zealand and sent over a few photos. Check em!

“What up people. Well these last few weeks have been abit snowie and wet. So I’ve not been outside much. I’ve been playing words with friends on my iPhone and riding bmx at the unit. We have been playing disc golf but its really flooded on the course  I sold my old dirtbike on my birthday and today I got me a brand new Honda. Can’t wait to test that thing out. And inbetween all that I’ve been hanging with my son. Loving life. Downing cold Rockstars.” – Alistair

Travis Collier went down to LA last weekend to shoot a video part and some photos for BMX Plus. We should have some video on the site soon and you can keep reading for some snapshots Travis took while he was down there!

Dillon Lloyd is going to be in the Odd Couple contest at Ray’s this weekend. He will be teamed up with mountainbiker Matt Macduff. The contest should be rad and we’ll definitely post some video when the contest is over. Good luck Dill!

Super stoked to see Ali on the cover of the new BMX Plus. The photo’s rad and it was shot in Fuzzy’s back yard on the last jump… I know all that because Ali posted a photo of the cover on twitter the other day… Ali and Jaumell have both been twittering hard, so make sure to follow MacNeil on twitter so you can see a photo of all the BMX wives in Greenville, or watch amazing videos like this…  So follow MacNeil on twitter… and Facebook to!! Congrats Ali on the cover. Were stoked!!!

It’s been 3 great years since we first brought Travis Collier onto the MacNeil team and started to make flatland products. The intent from the beginning was to have fun and collaborate with Travis on a creative level and maybe even help bridge a bit of the gap between flatland and the rest of BMX world.

Even thought Travis is still riding for MacNeil and very much a part of the team, we will not be continuing to make flatland products in 2010. We had a blast creating a unique line of parts with Travis, but we feel at this time it’s best to let the flatland world move in the direction it wants to go, while we move in ours.

Our relationship with Travis will otherwise remain the same, he’s still on our team and will be riding one-offs of his frame design. We have some other projects lined up with Travis for this year and are as stoked as ever to continue working with him!

A little note for Collier fans. There are still some of his frames available, but production has ended, so if you want to pick it up, get one now before they are all gone…

Ali was on the Vans Wheels of Rock tour last summer. A bunch of the Vans team headed out to France where they road tripped around in a super nice bus with some bands. The trip is being broken up into a three part video and the first and second parts showed up online last week. If I remember correctly, the airline lost Ali’s bike and he didn’t have it for some of the trip… None the less, the trip looked rad and the edits are great. Check em out!
