MacNeil UK Team in ATX

Mike King, Vince Mayne and Billy Cooper from our UK team just came back from a few weeks in Austin, TX. While they were out there they were busy shooting photos and filming. Check out a few leftover photos from the guys after the jump and keep your eye out for the video of their trip soon.

So myself, Billy Cooper and Vince Mayne just got back from two weeks filming in Austin, how original, right? But seriously, we all had an absolute blast out there and although 50% of our time out there was spent battling the craziness of the SXSW festival (when over 250,000 come to Austin) with the remaining time left facing blinding heat, unexpected thunderstorms, campus cops and… well, hangovers, we all came away with a good amount of footage and some lifelong memories having ridden spots we’d all been seeing for years. Hugest thanks to MacNeil Bikes and Seventies Distribution! Video to surface soon.

Lazer in Australia

Samson Ross with a one handed can can.

Lazer is down in Brisbane, Australia right now riding with George Bolter and Samson Ross. The first bit of his trip he was dodging some bad weather, but they’ve all been riding regardless. Read what he had to say below and check out some scenic photos after the jump and check back after the trip for Lazer’s wrap up.

Had a little bit of a slow start to the trip with some real shitty weather the first three days we were here. Pretty much rained non stop. Tried to make the most of it though. Had a fun pretty fun session at an indoor park and drank our faces off. The weather has been better the last little bit though. Did a day trip up the Gold Coast, another to the Sunshine Coast and been riding around the city a bunch.

Macneil/Seventies 3 days in the UK

“In early December Taylor Elvy, Dillon Lloyd and Greg Flag took a flight from Canada to hit up the Vans Rebel Jam in Holland. Following little sleep and even less practice, Dillon finished 7th in street. After a fairly docile couple of days living it up in Holland the guys headed to the UK for three days, en route to their final destination, Barcelona, where they would spend the next fortnight filming with ‘The Northern Embassy’.

The crew spent three days in between their travels alongside filmer and UK rider Mike King hitting a few local spots and skateparks in and around Brighton, including the Seventies warehouse and even caught a few hours in London, as well as spending some time with the other UK guys Ben Green, Vinny Mayne and Billy Cooper doing some sightseeing and experiencing a touch of the Brighton nightlife!

Here’s the resulting video..”  Mike King

Collier in Japan

Travis Collier just got back from a quick trip out to Japan to judge a contest and sent over a bunch of photos from the trip.

“In November I was invited by Hiroshi Uehara, the 430 crew and G-shock to judge one of the biggest BMX contests in Japan. It was BMX flatland, street, skateboarding & breakdance. Shit was amazing! It was set up as a TV show. Felt very compact at first glance, but it was meant to act as an action sports experience in a very intimate setup. Comp was amazing, so was the riding. Thanks to Hiroshi, G-shock and the 430 crew for such a rad week in Tokyo”

MCNL in BCN part two

Greg, Dillon, and Taylor are on the tail end of their Barcelona trip right now. Check out a few photos from the last week.

Greg Flag in the middle of nowhere Barcelona.

We met up with Louise from Rapit BMX, our distributor in Spain, and he and his friends showed us around.

Dillon grabbed his trick at this rail right before we got the boot and some serious altercations went down with some onlookers and the authorities.

Taylor strung together a solid line at an earlier spot.

It’s starting to look festive out here.

You can check out more with the guys on their Spanish trip with updates on Northern Embassy.

Macneil UK Team in Madrid

We posted the trailer a couple weeks ago, and here now is the full video of our UK team in Madrid. As expected everyone came through to put together this great welcome edit. Featuring Billy Cooper, Vinny Mayne, Mike King, and Ben Green (TM).
