Macneil/Seventies 3 days in the UK

“In early December Taylor Elvy, Dillon Lloyd and Greg Flag took a flight from Canada to hit up the Vans Rebel Jam in Holland. Following little sleep and even less practice, Dillon finished 7th in street. After a fairly docile couple of days living it up in Holland the guys headed to the UK for three days, en route to their final destination, Barcelona, where they would spend the next fortnight filming with ‘The Northern Embassy’.

The crew spent three days in between their travels alongside filmer and UK rider Mike King hitting a few local spots and skateparks in and around Brighton, including the Seventies warehouse and even caught a few hours in London, as well as spending some time with the other UK guys Ben Green, Vinny Mayne and Billy Cooper doing some sightseeing and experiencing a touch of the Brighton nightlife!

Here’s the resulting video..”  Mike King

MCNL in the UK

Dillon Lloyd, Taylor Elvy, and Greg Flag are over in the UK right now hanging out with all the guys from Seventies Distribution and meeting up with our newly formed UK team. The guys just landed after a long flight, and are heading on a drive to Rebel Jam in Holland. You can try and catch live streaming of the contest this weekend right here. Check out a few photos that Taylor sent through of their time so far, and keep checking back for more updates.

Looking Back on Brighton

ii9o0925

As soon as the Seventies Guys told us about their idea for the Brighton house we were sold. Our only question was, “how soon can we get in there?” Since a few of the guys were already scheduled to go to Estonia we just rescheduled the return trip to swing through Brighton. When the guys got home they were raving about how much fun they had. Bas and the guys from Seventies really took care of them and made sure the trip was so good that they made a second trip there before it was over. Thanks to everyone at Seventies for everything they did for us. You guys rock!

Check out a little interview with Bas about chilling with the team, and how big time he is. By the way Bas, good job answering my asshole questions so politically correctly. Read the rest of this entry »
